The master plan is the developer's map of how Faisal Town Phase 2 is intended to look once it is complete. It is a useful tool for choosing a plot, as long as you read it for what it is: a plan, not a finished community.
The main elements
- Residential sectors: P, T, X, the O Model Block with Q and R, N Block and the Overseas Enclave.
- Main boulevard: the spine road from Thalian Interchange that connects the sectors.
- Central Business District: a planned commercial core next to N Block and the Model Block.
- Community zones: Education City, Sports City, a health and wellness area, a club house and a food street.
Reading it for your plot
- Find your block, then your street, then your plot.
- Check the width of the road in front of the plot.
- Note what is next door: other houses, a park, a commercial strip, or a utility site.
- Find the nearest planned mosque, school and market, and the route to the main boulevard.
Planned is not the same as built
At the time of writing, the community facilities on the plan — schools, healthcare, sports grounds, commercial centres — have not been built. Master plans can also be revised, especially while a scheme is still going through approval. Do not pay a premium for a plot only because of a facility that exists only on paper.
Questions to ask
- Is this the latest version of the master plan, and what date is it?
- Has the layout of my block changed since launch?
- Which planned facilities have a construction start date?
See the master plan image and a summary of its zones on our features page, and ask us for the block map of any sector.
