Brochures show finished renders; a site visit shows you what exists today. Visiting before you book is the single best way to set realistic expectations.
Before you go
- Ask for the block map and, if possible, the plot numbers you are being offered.
- Check the route on a map. The project is beside Thalian Interchange on the M-2; Ring Road and interchange works may affect access, so confirm which gate to use.
- Go in daylight, and allow time to walk the area.
What to look at
- Your plot: ask to be shown the actual location, not just the block entrance. Is it marked or demarcated?
- Roads: is the road to the plot carpeted, levelled or only marked out?
- Levelling: is the land flat, or will it need filling or cutting before construction?
- Drainage: look for low ground or natural water channels nearby.
- Utilities: are electricity poles or underground cabling, water lines or sewerage visible yet?
- Activity: is development work actually going on — machinery, crews, fresh road work?
Questions for the site office
- When is possession expected for this block, and has that date changed before?
- What are the possession and development charges, if any?
- When are electricity, water and gas expected?
- Which facilities on the master plan are actually under construction now?
Afterwards
Take photos and notes, then compare what you saw with what you were told. If the two do not match, ask about it before paying. When you are ready, our booking guide covers the next steps, and you can contact us to arrange a visit.
